Selma’s crowdinvesting 2026

Coming soon: Selma's 2026 crowdinvesting campaign opens on R Europe (formerly Seedrs) on 4 November 2026. Pre-register to hear first when it opens.
Selma is raising money from its community – this time to take on retirement. Our 2026 crowdinvesting campaign opens on R Europe (formerly Seedrs) on 4 November 2026.
Retirement is one of the biggest money decisions people make. Good digital advice for it is still hard to find, and that's where Selma is heading next.
Here's what Selma already does for retirees, what the money from this round is for, and what to know before you visit the campaign page.
The key points at a glance
- Selma’s 2026 crowdinvesting campaign runs on R Europe (formerly Seedrs) and opens on 4 November 2026.
- The money goes into two things: pension planning in Selma AI and reaching more retirees.
- You'll find all details about the campaign, including the risks, on the campaign page once it goes live.
- Selma is a start-up, and investing in it carries very high risk. You can lose some or all of your money, may not be able to sell for years, and future rounds can reduce your share. Returns are not guaranteed.
- Pre-registration is open – by signing up you make sure you get priority access and are able to invest once the campaign opens.
Why retirement?
More than 100'000 people retire in Switzerland every year. Swiss retirees withdraw more than 17 billion CHF of pension capital a year – nearly triple the level of 2013. And in 2025, for the first time, retirees took most of their pension savings (51%) as a lump sum (Swisscanto Pension Fund Study 2026).
For many, it's one of the largest sums they’ll ever manage themselves. The money often has to last 25 years or more, and the right plan depends on pension income, taxes and markets. Yet many people decide alone, or pay for a one-off report that’s out of date as soon as life changes.
We think digital advice can do better.
What Selma does for retirees today
Selma is a FINMA-licensed independent portfolio manager. With dedicated offers for before and after retirement, Selma is a companion for anyone thinking or worrying about their pension money.
Selma AI lets us serve thousands of clients without growing the team at the same pace, so we can keep up as demand grows. Since 2024, it has held more than 130'000 personal advice conversations with clients. It runs on our own advice engine and eight years of client data.
And retirees are choosing Selma. In the last 12 months, our retiree segment grew 79% to more than 1'000 clients. Across all clients, we look after more than 15'000 people and over 470 million CHF.
What's next – pension planning
The biggest retirement decisions happen before the money moves. That’s where we’re going next.
Pension planning in Selma AI will bring a client’s pension fund, pillar 3a, AHV and savings together in one plan. The plan updates as life and markets change, and our experts step in when human judgement matters.
The goal: to be the advisor people turn to from their first retirement plan to their last withdrawal.
Why are we raising money?
Our retirement offer is live and growing. To grow faster, the money from the campaign goes into two things:
- Pension planning in Selma AI, so we can help people years before they retire, when they decide where their pension money goes.
- Reaching more retirees, through our community and referrals, partnerships in the senior space and targeted campaigns.
We're not doing this alone. TX Ventures (TX Group), Migros Group, angel investors and our community of crowd investors already back Selma.
How does the campaign work?
The campaign runs on R Europe (formerly Seedrs), which handles everything about the investment itself.
